The original L'Eau d'Issey was designed to smell like water — as close as perfume gets to it, anyway. A dewy lotus-and-freesia opening with a hint of melon, a clean white-floral heart of lily and peony, and a soft woody-musk finish.

It's minimalism in a bottle: fresh, calm, never overpowering — ideal for spring and summer, or for anyone who finds most perfume too sweet. Longevity is 8/10 on our scale.
